This is an English translation, for convenience. The text that applies is the Dutch version. Where the two differ, the Dutch text is the one that counts.
Terms of use
The agreement between you and us about using GroepsDruk. Kept short and in plain language, because terms nobody reads are not an agreement.
1. Who we are
GroepsDruk is a social goals platform: you set your own goals and prove with a photo or video check-in that you are working on them, while your friends watch along. The app is called GroepsDruk, you can find it at groepsdruk.app, and this website is groepsdr.uk.
GroepsDruk is made and run by EXOD IT, a sole trader based in Raamsdonksveer and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 96306939. Where it says "we" below, we mean EXOD IT. Where it says "you", we mean you as a user.

info@groepsdr.uk
If you want to reach us: report@groepsdr.uk for reports about a user or about content, support@groepsdr.uk if something goes wrong in the app, privacy@groepsdr.uk for anything to do with your data and security@groepsdr.uk for reporting security holes. If you are an authority or a regulator, use info@groepsdr.uk: that is our point of contact. You can write to us in Dutch or in English, and a human answers. In the Netherlands, the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) supervises the European rules for digital services.
2. Three documents, one agreement
- These terms of use are the agreement between you and us.
- The house rules describe what is and is not allowed in the app. They belong to these terms and are just as binding.
- The privacy policy explains what we do with your data. That is a separate document, not part of this agreement.
If the house rules and these terms contradict each other anywhere, these terms take precedence.
3. Agreeing
You agree the first time you log in, before you choose a username and before you can post anything. Without agreeing you cannot use GroepsDruk; all you can do then is log out. If you already had an account, we ask you once anyway. In that same step you declare that you are 16 or older.
For every agreement we record when you gave it, which version you had in front of you and a technical fingerprint of that text, so that it can be established later exactly what you agreed to. The terms of use and the house rules are both on this website, you can read them back, save them and print them at any time, and it always says at the top which version you are reading.
4. Who can have an account
You have to be 16 or older. You declare that when you agree, and we record that declaration. We do not ask for your date of birth and we do not check your age, but if an account turns out to belong to someone younger, we delete it.
Beyond that: access is by invitation, you have one account, that account is yours alone and the details you give are correct. You are responsible yourself for what happens with your account, so keep your password to yourself. If you invite someone, you share responsibility for the choice to let that person in.
5. What GroepsDruk is and is not
Not advice. GroepsDruk helps you keep going with your own goals. It is not medical, psychological, nutritional or sports advice, and we are not a coach or a healthcare practitioner. If you have doubts about your health, go to your GP.
Alpha stage. GroepsDruk is still in development and is being tested at the moment with a small, closed group. We do our best to keep everything working, but we do not promise that the app is always available or free of faults. Features can change or disappear. If something substantial about what the app does changes and you do not like it, you can always stop: see below under Leaving.
Nothing stays up for ever. Your photos and videos are cleaned up automatically after a retention period, and stories are only visible to your friends for a short time. The privacy policy says exactly how long. If you want to keep something, put it somewhere else yourself as well.
Free for now. There are no paid features at the moment and there is nothing you can buy in the app. There is a premium status that we hand out ourselves to a small group of testers, with a longer retention period for photos and videos. It is not for sale. If anything paid ever comes along, you will hear about it beforehand and separate arrangements will apply about price, cancelling and refunds.
6. Your content stays yours
The photos, videos and texts you post are and remain yours. We do not become their owner, and we do not turn them into advertising material.
To make the app work we do need permission to do something technical with them. You therefore give us the right to do the following with your content:
- store it on our servers;
- scale it down and compress it, and make a preview image of it;
- show it to the people you intended it for;
- send it as notification text to the devices of the people it is intended for;
- include it in our backups.
Your profile picture is also visible to other GroepsDruk users and sits on a direct link that works without an account. That is also in the privacy policy.
That is as far as it goes: we do not sell your content, we do not pass it on to anyone other than the parties who run the app for us, and we do not turn it into advertising material. Who those parties are is in the privacy policy. If you delete something, or delete your account, this right ends. Two honest exceptions: it can take a while before something has disappeared from our backups as well, and we hold on to content that there is a report about for as long as that report is being handled. After that we keep it for another thirty days, so that we can review the decision if you object, and then it goes; if the report is about a message, the text of that message is part of that.
What you post is yours or you have permission to post it, and the people in the picture are happy with it. That is your responsibility, not ours.
7. Zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for offensive content and zero tolerance for users who harass other people. What falls under that is in the house rules.
If we see something like that, we take it down, even if nobody has reported it. For sexual content involving minors, threats and illegal content the account goes as well, straight away and without a warning. In all other cases we pick the measure that fits what has happened; which steps those are is set out below under What we can do, and in plain language in the house rules.
Zero tolerance means we do not let it slide, not that every breach weighs the same. If we are in doubt about whether something crosses the line, for instance whether it is bullying or robust humour between friends, the content goes and you get a warning. If we are not in doubt, we act straight away.
8. Reporting and moderating
If you come across something that is out of order, report it in the app itself, at the story or the profile it is about, or via report@groepsdr.uk. You get a confirmation that your report has come in, we look at it, and you hear what we have decided and what you can do if you do not agree with that. We aim to look at a report within a day. That is how we want to do it, not a guarantee.
If your report is about content that you believe is illegal, add where it is, who it is about, why you think it is not allowed, and an email address where we can reach you. Also state that your report is correct to the best of your knowledge. Without those details we often cannot judge whether something really is not allowed, but we will look at it. If your report is about the sexual abuse of children, you do not have to give your name and email address.
A human decides on a measure here. Every decision about content or about an account is taken by a human. Two things the app does do by itself. We check names automatically against a word list: the name of a shared goal or a community, and in your profile your username, your first and last name and your nickname. If a name does not get through you see that straight away and pick a different one; for some words the app does let the name through and a human looks at it afterwards. And we clean up old photos and videos automatically once the retention period has passed. If you think a refusal is unjustified, email report@groepsdr.uk and a human will look at it.
Besides reports, we can also step in ourselves if we come across something. We do not read along in your conversations and we do not open or search chats. If you report a message, we keep a copy of that message, so that a human can judge what has happened, and we can take it down. If your report is about a conversation, send along what you have seen yourself. That is allowed, even though the house rules otherwise ask you not to share screenshots of private messages.
One more honest thing about objecting. If a moderator takes something down, it is gone from the app, and photos and videos have a retention period anyway. That is why we record what we decided and why for every decision, and hold on to the material it was about for another thirty days after that decision. If you object within those thirty days, a person looks at that material again. After that we can no longer do so and we judge your objection on what we recorded. So you can always object; getting the material back is what is not possible.
9. What we can do
If you do not stick to the house rules or to these terms, we can warn you, delete your content, lock your account or end your account. If lighter measures come along later, such as a temporary block or shutting off a feature, we use those in the same way.
We pick what fits what has happened. We look at how serious it is, whether it happened before and whether it was probably deliberate, and we take account of your freedom to say what you think. We tell you why we do something, and you can object to it: if your account is locked, you do that directly in the app, in other cases via report@groepsdr.uk. A human looks at that objection.
Apart from what we do, you can block someone yourself: at the profile, at a story and when reporting. After that you no longer see each other in the app and the friendship is broken off. You lift a block in Settings, under "Blocked users"; that does not bring the friendship back by itself.
Creating a new account while your account is locked is not allowed and is itself a reason to end that account too.
If we suspect that a criminal offence has been committed in which someone's life or safety is in danger, we inform the authorities.
10. Leaving
You can stop at any moment. You do that yourself in the app: in Settings, under "Account and personal details", there is a "Delete account" button. Your account is then set to invisible straight away. You have a cooling-off period of fourteen days, and during that time you put it back in the app with a single button. After that we delete it for good, and thirty days after your request at the latest your images have been cleaned up too. If you can no longer log in, email privacy@groepsdr.uk and we will do it for you. When your account is deleted, your goals, check-ins, photos, videos, messages and friendships go, including the conversations you had with other people. The privacy policy says exactly what disappears and what is kept for a short while.
We can end this agreement if you do not stick to the house rules or to these terms, or if we stop with GroepsDruk. In that last case we will let you know at least a month beforehand, so that you can save your things.
11. Liability
GroepsDruk is an app that helps you keep track of your own goals. What you do with those goals, and what that means for your health, remains your own choice and your own responsibility.
GroepsDruk is private and works by invitation: you choose who you bring in and who you accept as a friend. What those people post or do is theirs. We are not responsible and not liable for it.
What we do do: if you point us at something that does not belong here, we take it down as fast as we can, and we step in when we come across it ourselves too. And to be honest about where that stops: we do not read along in your conversations and we do not see everything. Doing our best is therefore not the same as a guarantee that nothing will ever come past that you would rather not have seen.
For the rest, our liability is limited to direct damage: damage that is the direct result of a failure that is attributable to us, including where that failure lies with a party we bring in. Consequential damage, such as lost income, does not fall under it. That limitation does not apply in the case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our side, and not to damage from death or physical injury. Your statutory rights as a consumer always continue to apply: nothing in these terms takes anything away from them.
12. Changes
These terms and the house rules can change. If it is a substantial change, we ask you to agree again the next time you open the app, before you can carry on. If you do not agree with it, you can stop and have your account deleted. Small corrections, such as a clarification or a changed email address, we simply put through. At the top of every page it says which version you are reading and when it is from, and at the bottom it says what changed in each version.
We can change too. EXOD IT is a sole trader at the moment. If the business takes on a different legal form, or if GroepsDruk passes to another company that carries on the service from us, we may transfer this agreement and your data to that party. Nothing changes for you: the same house rules, terms and privacy policy continue to apply, until they are changed in line with this section. We will let you know at least a month beforehand, in the app or by email, and if you do not want to come along, you can delete your account in that time.
13. App Store and Google Play
This agreement is between you and EXOD IT. Apple and Google are not a party to it. Their own terms apply alongside it, for the shop you get the app from. If you get the app from the App Store, then besides these terms Apple's standard agreement for apps applies as well. That is about the use of the app itself, these terms are about GroepsDruk as a service. Apple may enforce that agreement itself. If you have a question or a problem with GroepsDruk, come to us and not to them: support@groepsdr.uk.
14. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies to these terms. If you live in another country of the European Union, you also keep the mandatory protection that the law of your own country gives you: this choice cannot take that away from you.
If we cannot work it out together, you can go to court. As a consumer you may always choose the court in the country where you live, and that is also where we would bring a case against you.
If you have a complaint, email info@groepsdr.uk first. We would rather sort it out ourselves. If your complaint is about how we deal with content, you can also go to the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets, which supervises the European rules for digital services in the Netherlands.
15. Closing
Version 1 · 2 September 2026. Which versions there are and what changed in each one is in section 16. If part of these terms turns out not to be valid, the rest simply continues to apply. What is not valid does not apply: on that point the law simply applies.
16. Version history
If anything about this text changes, a line is added below: which version it is, when it is from, and what is different. We keep the full text of every version, so it can always be looked up what someone agreed to.
